Bugs & Fixes

Bugs and fixes from v7.0 onwards are noted in the following table:

Bug Noted Bug Fixed Description
v7.0 to v7.0.3   Some controls disappear when Alt key is pressed in a themed dialog box on XP or Vista. This is known Delphi bug – see CodeGear Quality Central Bug Report #374030.
v7.0 to v7.0.3   The main Windows application's Explorer Extension dialog box is not persisting its settings on Vista. This is due to attempting to write to HKLM so the bug will also apply to non-administrators on NT, 2000 and XP.
All versions   By default, the help system does not work in Windows Vista. VIS uses WinHelp which is not provided by default on Vista. See Microsoft's knowledge base article KB917607 for more information and details of how to download WinHelp.
v7.0 to v7.0.3   Some display problems in the Windows application's main window and dialog boxes on Windows Vista.
v7.0.2 v7.0.3 Display problems with Windows application: in main window caption and the advanced tab of the Explorer Extension dialog box.
v7.0.1 v7.0.2 Context menu handler does not display Explorer status bar hints correctly on Windows 9x OSs.

Please report any bugs you may find via the contact page.

If you are using v6 or earlier, please update to the latest version and check if a bug is still present before reporting.
